The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Karen Coggeshall
I am both a painter and a printmaker -- these two disciplines provide balance to my creative process and I freely move between the representational subjects in my paintings and the abstract imagery in my printmaking. My monoprints combine diverse inspirational sources (tapestries, Japanese wood-blocks and ceramics) with vibrant colors, patterns and textures to create compelling semi-abstractions.
